Gary W. Sanders, Thomas A. Collins and Rita A. Rehaste have a combined healthcare experience of over 65 years in representing healthcare facilities and providers. The Firm has substantial experience in the acquisition, divestiture and financing of healthcare businesses and in defending medical malpractice, elder abuse, citation and regulatory matters, business litigation, licensing of health care facilities; together with an experienced healthcare accounts receivable collection department.

The Firm has remained small over the years to allow its partners to cultivate long term relationships and dedicate personal attention to the needs of our clients. The Firm’s extensive experience and long-term relationships in the healthcare industry benefit our clients in many ways.

While the Firm is comprised of experienced and result-oriented professionals, we set our billing rates below market in order to provide our clients with legal services at reasonable fees and we take a cost effective approach to the resolution of all legal matters for our clients. The Firm has also developed (i) a health care collections program at a reduced cost/flat rate for certain debt collection practices, which has been successful in reducing clients’ costs and recovering accounts receivable and (ii) a reduced cost/flat rate program for the defense of certain regulatory citations.

The Firm is an active member of the California Association of Healthcare Facilities, Aging Services of California and the American Health Lawyers Association.
